Dear Councillor,

You are hereby summoned to attend the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council to be held at Croft Village Hall, Croft, on 16th May 2022 commencing at 7pm.

At the discretion of the Chairman, those members of the public residing or working within the council’s boundary, will be invited to make representations or ask questions in respect of the business on the agenda or other matters concerning the parish. A maximum of 3 minutes per person is allowed, or 15 minutes overall. If time allocated is not required, the Council will go into formal session.

AGENDA

1.   Apologies for Absence.

To receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Town Clerk prior to the meeting. 

2.   To receive declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests and any written request for dispensation.

3.   To elect a new Chairperson of the Council.

4.   To receive the Chairperson’s declaration of acceptance of office.

5.   To elect a Vice-Chairperson of the Council.

6.   To receive the Vice-Chairperson’s declaration of acceptance of office.

7.   To confirm the minutes of the Council meeting held on Monday 4th April 2022.

8.   To approve the list of accounts submitted for consideration.

9.   To discuss community matters which need referring to the District and County representatives for a response.

10.   To receive notification of any planning permissions, refusals, or amendments. 

11.   To receive reports from the Chairman and Clerk to the Council.

12.   To consider the purchase of a screen for use in the Village Hall meeting room.

13.   To receive an update on the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebration Event.

14.   To receive a report on the Village Hall.

15.   To consider traffic calming measures in Croft.

16.   To dispose of any correspondence received. 

17.   To transact any urgent business.
