MINUTES OF THE CROFT PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON MONDAY 7th DeCEMBER 2020 BY WAY OF A VIRTUAL ZOOM MEETING

a) Cllr Dennis is assisting the Clerk with the 106 Monies for the carpark.

b) Cllr Dowlman has been in contact with the Contractor concerning the Bus Shelter and will be meeting with him soon.

c) The tenant has been contacted concerning the Rural Payments.

6 Informative matters from LCC & ELDC Councilors

LCC – Cllr Kirk was not present; however, he had sent all Councillors a report.

ELDC – Cllr Dennis, gave a brief report into the business at East Lindsey.

The letter was read out to the Councillors, there were no outstanding issues.

d) To agree budget and precept – sent to Councilors before the meeting

There were no questions It was proposed by Cllr Mrs. Coxall, seconded by Cllr Vokes and unanimously agreed that the precept should be set at £10897.00.

9 Village Hall

a) Report – Cllr Vokes

The Village Hall is still closed due to COVID Restrictions

10 Charity Document – Cllr Mrs. Coxall

Cllr Mrs. Coxall proposed that the Parish Council adopt the Charity document, and submit to the Charity Commission, seconded Cllr Vokes and unanimously agreed

11 Allotments and Rural Payments – Cllr Bowser

It was proposed by Cllr Bowser, seconded by Cllr Dowlman and unanimously agreed that the Parish Council should engage an agent at a cost of £300.00 to investigate the missing rural payments.  Cllr Bowser will contact the agent on the Council’s behalf.

There is nothing to report currently.

Update on the play area

To move into closed session – the public will be asked to leave

14 Play Equipment (including Fencing) – Cllr Vokes & Cllr Mrs. Coxall

The designs sent to Councillors before the meeting explained by Cllr Mrs. Coxall and discussed at length.

It was proposed by Cllr Dowlman that he drafts a plan to show the balance between parking, and the play area. Agreed.
