To whom it may concern,

You are welcome to attend the Annual Meeting of the Council, to be held at Croft Village Hall, Croft, on Monday 5th June 2023 commencing at 7pm.

At the discretion of the Chair, those members of the public residing or working within the council’s boundary, will be invited to make representations or ask questions in respect of the business on the agenda or other matters concerning the parish. A maximum of 3 minutes per person is allowed, or 15 minutes overall. If time allocated is not required, the Council will go into formal session.

AGENDA

1.   Welcome from the Chair of the Council.

2.   Apologies for Absence.

To receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Town Clerk prior to the meeting. 

3.   Declarations of Interest.

To receive declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011 - being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Member’s Register of Interests and any written request for dispensation.

4.   To confirm the minutes of the Council meeting held on Monday 3rd April 2023.

5.   To approve the list of accounts submitted for consideration for:

a.   May Income and Expenditure

6.   To receive updated bank reconciliation for:

a.   May Bank Reconciliation

7.   To discuss community matters which need referring to the District and County representatives for a response.

8.   To receive notification of any planning permissions, refusals, withdrawals, or amendments. 

9.   To appoint three new bank signatories.

10.   To appoint Councillors to carry out duties in relation to:

a.   The Village Hall

b.   Play Area

c.   CCTV

d.   Defibrillator

e.   Charity

11.   To receive a report on the Village Hall. 

12.   To consider applications for co-option on to the Council.

13.   To consider events such as

a.   Book Swap

b.   Toy Swap

c.   Lending Library

14.   To consider holding Councillor surgeries.

15.   To consider commemorating long serving past Councillors.
