1 Apologies for absence

Cllr Bowser, Cllr Kirk, PCSO Jane Richardson, these absences were formally approved, by vote, having considered and accepted the reasons for absence.

 

2 To sign as correct the minutes from the last meeting held on 3rd June 2019, it was unanimously agreed that the minutes should be signed

a) The Co Option advert has been is on the Notice Board & Website

b) Bottle Bank Reported to ELDC Ref ELC 1876336

c) Ladybug unable to clean Bus Stop – Cllr Dennis made arrangements to clear the bus stop

9 Footpaths & Highways

a) Report from Highways meeting – Cllr Peacock

Cllr Peacock reported on his meeting with Derick Jones from Highways

c) Footpath Report – Cllr Moore

Cllr Moore advised that he has waked the footpaths and they are fine now

 

10 Village Hall

a) Report – Cllr Mr. P Vokes

Wainfleet PC will be returning the sandbags which were borrowed

Work will be carried out on the gutters and drains soon

Work on the War memorial post is continuing

The meeting was interrupted at this point by a member of the PCC who advised that there will be a wedding in the Church on the 13th July, Cllr Vokes advised that although there is already a booking in the Village Hall on this date, they would still be able to use the facilities

b) Fencing and Gate for Village Hall Car park – Cllr Peacock

This was suggested and will be discussed at a future date

 

11) Recreation Ground Meeting

Cllr Vokes reported on the meeting held with the PCC

The following points were agreed

1 Age restriction – No restriction

2 Development of the Car park to include fencing around the play area

3 The Church to hold a key to the village Hall to enable the to use the conveniences. The Parish Council must have contact details for the key holder

4 The Parish Council require a longer license – no less than 20 years preferably 26 years

 

12) Speed watch

The Parish Council now have 6 volunteers, the clerk will arrange the training for them.

It was agreed that if all the volunteers sign the acceptances the equipment should be ordered
