1 Apologies for absence

Cllr Bowser, Jane Richardson, these absences were formally approved, by vote, having considered and accepted the reasons for absence.

 

2 To sign as correct the minutes from the last meeting held on 1st July 2019, it was unanimously agreed that the minutes should be signed

a) letter from a resident receipt acknowledged and sent to Cllrs before the meeting

This e mail was sent onto the Parochial Church Council and it was confirmed that they had dealt with-it

9 Footpaths & Highways

a) Reported

Edges of verges require trimming – West Side of Low Road

Road Splitting by Belvedere Caravan Park- now cleared

Low Road Verges

Croft Road sign damage reported

b) It was agreed that FIXMYSTREET is beginning to have an impact

 

10 Village Hall

a) Report – Cllr Mr. P Vokes

Cllr Vokes reported that the guttering was now fixed

The Fire safety check had been carried out and everything is fine

The Alarm has also been service and the password re set

PAT Test and 5year test it was unanimously agreed that the advised work should be carried out

Electric Tubes have been replaced

Emergency lighting – a testing log and plan have been set up

Groups still using the Hall Yoga, bingo & Auction

The War memorial post has been repaired thanks to Cllr Dennis for his assistance

b) Redecoration of the Village Hall

It was unanimously agreed that quotes should be sort for the redecoration of all 5 areas of the village hall, together with quotes for carpeting or alternatives

 

11) Recreation Ground – Update

 

The new License agreement was signed by all parties on the 31st August 2019

Clerk to investigate quotes for meshing in the car park

A key and password to the Village Hall has been handed to the Parochial Church Council

 

12) Speed watch Update

A visit has been arranged with Linc Road safety to consider areas where the speed gun can be used. More residents have volunteered – details given to the coordinator

 

13) Redecoration of the Bus Shelter

It was unanimously agreed to redecorate the bus shelter and place a seat in it. Clerk will get quote

 

14) Asset Register – Cllr Moore

The Clerk will update the Asset register

 

15) Agenda Items for the next meeting

Change of ownership of land with the PCC

Speeding in Church Lane

Path to the A52

The Council will then move into closed session and the public will be asked to leave

 

16) Staff Resignation

This was agreed and the resignation was accepted. Clerk will write with final salary details
