MINUTES OF THE CROFT PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON MONDAY 6th September 2021

It was brought to the Councils attention that the member of public had reported to East Lindsey problems that she is having with the new neighbours.  The Council has agreed to follow up the complaint.

3 To sign as correct the minutes from the last meeting held on   

the 7th July 2021.

It was unanimously agreed that the minutes should be signed

4 Matters to Report

a) Notice has now been served to terminate the tenancy on the allotments.

Vacant possession will be January 2023.

a) Confirmation received from LCC that the Council will receive 9 Rowan trees as applied for, further information will be sent as soon as it become available.

6 Informative matters from LCC & ELDC Councilors

Cllr Blackburn (LCC) – mentioned the Skegness & Mablethorpe Transport Strategy, it was suggested that Croft would gain by having more buses stop in the village, Cllr Mrs. Blackburn advised that she would investigate this matter

9 Village Hall

a) Report – Cllr Vokes

Kitchen – the cupboards have been fitted; the wiring will commence 20th September Cllr Vokes reported on the excellent service received from the kitchen fitter.

Alarm – a new box has been fitted, and the system has been service

CCTV – A new monitor has been fitted and the system has been serviced.

If the Parish Council require CCTV coverage for the play area, we will need WIFI, and the cost of installation for this system will be between £3000 & £5000.

Windows – All blown units have now been replaced,

Fire Check – replacement of 1 fire extinguisher and check completed.

Car Park – The meshing has now been laid.

Bookings are increasing, and we have just taken a 3-day booking for a First Aid Course.

10 Parish Notice Board at Tower Farm – Cllr Peacock

It was agreed to investigate installing a notice board, Cllr Dowlman will advise the Clerk of suggested locations.

11 Funding for a skate Park – Cllr Peacock

It was agreed that until the new playpark is installed, no further projects should be taken on.
